Chris Stapleton Is Thrilled to Be Opening for Tom Petty

looks like Chris Stapleton’s hand has healed because he’s talking about how much he’s looking forward to opening for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Quote, “I’m a huge fan. He’s one of my all-time favorites. This is something his booking agents and my guys have been working on for a time,or so they told me . . . and why wouldn’t [I] do that? I’d buy tickets to Tom Petty, so I’d certainly be more than happy to be on a bill with him.”

The shows are June 29th at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and July 5th and 6th at Milwaukee’s Summerfest.
