Armed man barricaded in residence on Commerce St.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Lt. Steve Warren with the Clarksville Police Department reports an armed man has barricaded himself inside a residence in the 1200 block of Commerce St. The Clarksville Police SWAT Team is on site along with hostage negotiators. Police are rerouting all traffic in the area of Commerce St., Glenn St., and Porter’s Bluff Rd. The Clarksville Transit System and Clarksville-Montgomery County School Buses have also been notified of the rerouted traffic the area.
