A white Christmas won’t be happening in Clarksville, but we may see a few flurries on Christmas Eve.

There is a 30 percent chance of rain mixed with some snow Sunday night (Christmas Eve) in the Clarksville area, with the same chance on Christmas Day. No accumulation is expected and roads will likely not be affected.

The National Weather Service says an active weather pattern will bring two rounds of showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall across Middle Tennessee this week, with the first round expected today and tomorrow, and the second round from Friday into Saturday.

Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are forecast from today into tomorrow. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches are possible from Friday into Saturday morning. Total rainfall this week could reach anywhere from 2 to 7 inches, which could lead to flooding in some areas from Friday into Saturday.
