Clarksville police are looking for a suspect who robbed an 81-year-old woman in a business parking lot.

On Dec. 16 around 12:30 p.m., the woman had gotten out of her car at 1498 Madison Street and an unknown male grabbed her from behind, forcibly took her wallet, and fled the scene.

The suspect stole a bank card that was used at a gas station at 1963 Madison Street half an hour after the crime.

The suspect can be seen in the video surveillance manhandling the victim and running off with her wallet. He may have arrived and left the scene in a red Ford. He is described as a white male with a stocky build, around 5’8″, wearing a dark blue jacket and dark pants.

Police are gathering additional surveillance video and following leads in an effort to identify the suspect.
