Willie Nelson cuts show short due to breathing issues

Willie Nelson had to leave the stage on Saturday in San Diego because he wasn’t feeling well. He left during the first song, he was coughing, and seemed to have trouble breathing.

Willie’s publicist said he’s suffering from “a bad cold or the flu” and headed home to Texas to get better.

Willie had to cancel his shows on Monday in Palm Desert, California and tonight in Rohnert Park, California. He’s also canceling his Friday and Saturday appearances in Las Vegas . . . and Sunday in Laughlin, Nevada.

Willie is 84 and has a history of lung problems. But at least we know he’s spiritually strong . . . and keeping a good sense of humor about it.
