CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two more suspects have been arrested in the double homicide on Martin Street on April 8, bringing the number of suspects to four.
This week, an Oak Grove, Kentucky, juvenile and a Hopkinsville, Kentucky, man were charged in the shooting deaths, according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.
On the evening of April 8, CPD responded a shooting at 616 Martin St., according to previous reports. Officers found two gunshot victims: Savannah Lumpkin, 30, and Glenn Nicholson, 26, both of Clarksville; both died from their injuries.
Lumpkin was the mother of three children, according to her obituary.
Arrests of four suspects
On April 12, Tristan Riley, 36, of Clarksville was arrested in Chicago with the help of the Chicago Police Department’s Fugitive Recovery Team. He is awaiting extradition back to Clarksville. Riley has been charged with two counts of homicide, among other charges.
On April 24, Tyson Mullins Jr., 20, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on two counts of homicide.
CPD announced Friday that also on Wednesday, April 24, police took out a juvenile petition for homicide on a 17-year-old boy from Oak Grove. He was taken into custody by Hopkinsville Police and transported to a juvenile detention facility in Kentucky. He is awaiting extradition, and his name has not been released.
On Thursday, agents with CPD’s Special Operations Unit arrested 20-year-old Christopher Watkins of Hopkinsville. He was taken into custody at a residence in Clarksville and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on homicide charges.

“This is still an active and ongoing investigation and more arrests are expected,” Beaubien said.
