3 displaced by apartment fire on Ringgold Road in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Three people lost their home in an apartment fire on Ringgold Road Thursday night.

At about 10:28 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to the fire at 480 Ringgold Road, in north Clarksville.

Firefighters arrived to see heavy smoke coming from an apartment on the first floor, CFR reported. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other 23 apartments.

Clarksville Police assisted with evacuating the building, and no injuries were reported.

Three people were displaced because of the damage. The American Red Cross has been called to assist the families, CFR reported.

Fire crews from Stations 6, 7, 5, and 1 responded.
