CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Beachaven Vineyards & Winery has opened a new location on Franklin Street, bringing local wines from their site off the interstate into downtown Clarksville.

Beachaven’s new location can be found at 101 Franklin St., the corner of First and Franklin. The company’s website describes the experience as “a relaxed environment for those that like the walkability and convenience to other local restaurants, shops and craft beverages.”

Abigail Scurlock, who helped kickstart the opening for the downtown location, said the owners, Rebecca and Wilson Cooke, have been waiting for the right opportunity to expand their business. “They were waiting for the right time, the right opportunity, the right space,” Scurlock said.

Scurlock described the new location as an “extension” of the original business model at 1100 Dunlop Lane. She also said the business is ready to be a part of the downtown bar scene as they make this transition.

Beachaven’s downtown location will serve their wine by the glass and bottle, with customers having the option to order a wine flight as well. They are open Thursday-Friday 4-10 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
