CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Several food trucks will be pulling up and parking in Clarksville as part of the “Dinner with the Trucks,” event on Friday, June 12.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Priceless IGA parking lot at 1151 Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Shirley Brown and Desiree Johnson, a mother/daughter team and who oversee the Clarksville Food Trucks Group and the Clarksville and Surrounding Area Food Scene on Facebook make sure the community stays informed about Clarksville’s food truck scene.

“Clarksville Food Trucks is a partnership of local food trucks and small business owners coming together to provide something amazing for our community,” said Desiree Johnson. “When our community comes out to Dinner With The Trucks they are not only getting some outstanding food and having a great time but also helping restore economy and assisting these small business owners especially after Covid-19 hindered some many establishments.”

The line-up of food trucks for June 12th include:

  • Kadi’s Tacos and More that feature an amazing fried avocado taco.
  • Borinquen Flavors will be joining and offering their gourmet hot dogs.
  • Coming in from Nashville is  Franklin’s Fruit Tea with their liquid gold that also has pureed fruit.
  • Off The Grill is back with their chicken wings as well as their popular loaded fries.
  • Fire Pit BBQ has loaded brisket nacho’s that are known to be irresistible.
  • ImpireCafe has deep fried crab legs and lobster tails. The po’boy is a must have item.
  • To cool you off we joining for the first time Kona Ice of Hopkinsville/Clarksville
  • The Cheesesteak Academy will be offering their Authentic Cheesesteaks.

“Many of our food trucks started as a tent, moved up to a food truck and one day have the vision of owning a brick and mortar storefront,” said Shirley Brown, director of Clarksville Food Trucks. “Clarksvillians have been asking for awhile now for us to host a food truck round-up.  Plus there is nothing better than food truck food.”

Those who attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and practice social distancing guidelines.
