Gateway Honor Band showcases talented student musicians at Kirkwood High School | VIDEO

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Despite a rainy Saturday, families, educators, and student musicians gathered at Kirkwood High School to enjoy a performance by the 2025 Gateway Music Association Middle School and High School Honor Band.

The Gateway Honor Band is a group of talented middle and high school musicians from Clarksville and nearby areas. It gives students a chance to play challenging music under the guidance of experienced conductors. The band helps support music education and brings young musicians together to perform.

The concert featured various musical pieces with Beth Fabrizio conducting the middle school performance and Steven Page conducting the high school band.

Josh Underwood, President of the Gateway Music Association, welcomed the audience and acknowledged the support of various school districts and music industry partners. “We are very honored to have you here. Thank you for coming out and braving the rain,” he said.

The Gateway Music Association expressed gratitude to local school districts, including the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Fort Campbell Schools, Houston County Schools, Stewart County School System, and the Cheatham County School District, as well as partners like AMRO Music and Music Central.
