CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Bad Bunny, Calibre 50, J Balvin and other Latin acts have been rising in popularity around the country, and now they’re at the top of the playlist on Clarksville’s new Latin music station, La Pantera 99.9.

What sets La Pantera apart will be the wide variety of Latin music. Launching at noon on Friday, La Pantera will feature a custom blend of regional Mexican and Latin hits to reflect Clarksville’s diverse Hispanic population.

“When we started talking about bringing a Latin music station to Clarksville, we asked around the local Hispanic community to see what folks wanted in the mix,” said Operations Manager Ryan Ploeckelman. “What we heard again and again is that there’s not just one Spanish-speaking community in Clarksville, and there isn’t just one flavor of Latin music. That guided our choices to make sure we have a variety of music represented, from Puerto Rican to Mexican to Colombian.”

The new station replaces EZ 99.9 and is part of 5 Star Media Group. 5 Star includes Clarksville Now, Christian County Now and nine radio stations: Beaver 100.3, Q108, Z97.5, Rewind 94.3, The Fort 99.1, La Pantera 99.9, ESPN Clarksville, Outlaw 100.7 and Patriot 105.5.

Tune in to 99.9 at noon on Friday to check it out!
