Riverfest: Clarksville’s annual Riverfest Celebration returns September 5-7. This free, three day music festival is held at the RiverWalk and features music, food and craft vendors, a family fun area and a cardboard boat regatta.

Field of Dreams Dedication: Friday, September 6, Montgomery County TN Parks and Recreation are holding a ribbon cutting for the new Civitan Park Rotary Field of Dreams. The ceremony begins at 5 p.m, followed by a game of Buddy Ball.

Movies at the Library: The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will offer a free showing of ‘Tyler Perry’s A Medea Family Funeral’ on Sunday, September 8, beginning at 2 p.m. Popcorn will be provided.

Downtown @ Sundown: This weekend’s Downtown @ Sundown features Christian rock band Awaken and the rock group Sedona on Friday, September 6, beginning at 7 p.m.

Fort Defiance 154th Infantry Days: The 154th Senior Tennessee Infantry Regiment will be visiting Fort Defiance to perform live demonstrations, including recreations of life in a Civil War camp, drills, and musket firing. The regiment will be present September 6-8 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Robot BattlesKids, ages 8-13, will have an opportunity to build robot knights and battle them at the Crow Recreation Center, 211 Richview Road, on September 7 from 10 a.m-12 p.m. Last robot standing wins bragging rights.

Jazz on the Lawn: This weekend’s Jazz on the Lawn features the South Street Players. Free wine tastings begin at 4 p.m, and music starts at 6:30 on Saturday, September 7.

A Chorus Line: The Roxy Regional Theater opens its 37th season with a classic Broadway musical on Friday, September 6, at 8 p.m. Any unsold tickets will be available for minimum a $5 minimum donation at 7:30 p.m.

APSU v Central Arkansas: The Governors will attempt to capture their second victory of the season against Central Arkansas on Saturday, September 7. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. at Fortera Stadium.

Cumberland Winds Annual Concert: The Cumberland Winds will hold their annual concert and silent auction fundraiser on Friday, September 6 at Madison Street United Methodist Church. Music begins at 7:30, though bidders are encouraged to arrive early to view auction items.
