Weekend top picks: Downtown @ Sundown, Jammin’ in June, Music on the Lawn

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend is your chance to catch all the live music performances! Enjoy a performance at The Roxy, listen to Motown downtown, jam with James Parker, and sit back and relax with music at Beachaven Winery.

Downtown @ Sundown:  Join Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street on Friday, June 21 to sing and dance to all your favorite Motown music live with ACE Party Band! The free concert begins at 7 p.m.

Jammin’ in June with James Parker: The Customs House Museum, 200 South Second Street welcomes James Parker for a night of soulful music, food, drinks, and dancing. Tickets are $50 and the night will begin on Saturday, June 22 from 6-9 p.m.

Music on the Lawn:  Meet Beachaven Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane  on the lawn and enjoy dinner from a local food truck and Beachaven wine while listening to live music from Jacob Winn on Saturday, June 22 from 4-7 p.m. A second performance from The 1980 will be on Sunday, June 23 from 2-5 p.m.

9 to 5: The Musical: Set in the late 1970s, this story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era, based on the seminal 1980 hit movie, is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic. Tickets are $35 (adults) and $15 (10 and under) at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin Street. Performances begin June, 20-22 at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. showing on Saturday.
